Objectives And Policies

In order to create harmony and coherence in policymaking, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the production, supply, development, and facilitation of trade and supply of halal food and products based on laws and principles of Ja’fari jurisprudence and the commonalities among Islamic sects, and to engage constructively with the Muslim world, the Strategic Plan of Halal Food and Products of World Halal Center was drafted with the following specific objectives:

  1. Developing a halal-food production culture, strengthening the trust among the Islamic community, and promoting the halal-food produced by the Islamic Republic of Iran globally
  2. The consistency of production, supply, and trade of food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic products with religious standards.
  3. Development of research and education in production, supply, and trade of halal food and products
  4. Institutionalization of religious processes in the production and processing of halal food and products at relevant governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions
  5. Development of economic and commercial activities and acquisition of the status of halal foods and products produced by the Islamic Republic of Iran globally
  6. Strengthening the animal rights protection system

Our Policies are:

Policy No 1. Paving the ground for the growth and development of the production, supply, and trade of halal food and products

Policy No 2. Preparation for competition together with collaboration and synergy

Policy No 3. Preparation for introducing Iran’s halal certification as the world’s leading and reliable brand

Policy No 4. Promoting knowledge and research on halal foods and products

Policy No 5. Designing and establishing a comprehensive system of quality and monitoring halal foods and products based on the principles of Ja’fari jurisprudence

Policy No 6. Improving supervision on production and trade and processing of halal foods and products

Policy No 7. Promoting culture and improving public belief in consumption of Iranian halal foods and products

Policy No 8. Cultivation and explanation of Ja’fari jurisprudence in the production of halal foods and products

Policy No 9. Establishing and guiding the production and trade processes of products to diversify products and meet the needs of target market customers

Policy No 10. Paving the ground for reducing the finalized costs and competitiveness of products in international markets
